NATALIE M. WARREN, DVM
Dr. Warren received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
from Colorado State University in 1999. After vet school, she left her beloved Rocky Mountains for western Washington
to be closer to family. She has since expanded her veterinary medical expertise by working in a variety of settings
including rural large-animal practice, suburban small-animal hospitals and urban emergency centers. She has also enjoyed
providing relief veterinary service to area animal shelters.
Continuing education and organized veterinary medicine are a passion for Dr. Warren, and she enjoys many opportunities
to contribute to the veterinary community. She sits on the Executive Board for the Washington State Veterinary Medical
Association, is a member of several WSVMA committees, and is the founder and President of the Pierce County Veterinary Society.
In her free time, Dr. Warren enjoys bicycling, skiing, gardening, and tearing up the streets on her Ducati motorcycle.
She spends quieter times with her horse, her spotted dog and two striped cats in their North Tacoma home.
KEISHA REIS, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Keisha is
a California
native, but moved up to Washington in 2000. She enjoys the
great northwest outdoors, and can be found out in it gardening, kayaking, hiking and backpacking. She graduated from Pierce College with
an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, and has recently received her Bachelors of Applied Science in Veterinary
Technology from St. Petersburg College
through their distance learning program. She shares her house with her husband and a very spoiled brown tabby named Amir who
likes to dress up in coats and scarves, and Circe, her very cute dilute calico.
CARLA PROVENZANO, Technician
Carla hails from Atlanta, GA, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BS
in zoology from Georgia State University. As her fiance is in the military, Carla is well-traveled, having recently spent
six months living in Germany. Fiji, Belize, Costa Rica, Jamaica, the Carribean Islands and Mexico are among her other favorite
destinations. She moved to Tacoma this past July, and we feel very fortunate to have her here. One drawback to her 'jetsetting
lifestyle' is that it limits her ability to own many pets although she does have a guinea pig named Penelope. In her
off time, Carla keeps busy planning her wedding, which will take place in Italy this summer.

TIFFANY ADAMS, Receptionist
Tiffany comes to us from Puyallup, where she shares her home with a veritable menagerie:
her cockatoo, Chewy; her horse, Nacho; her dog, Whisky; and her ferret, The Little Girl. Since she manages her own brood so
well, she was a natural fit to supervise our Humane Society kitties here at Met Vet, a job she handles superbly. She makes
sure all their needs are met, and facilitates all of the adoptions.
A true northwesterner, Tiffany is happiest when she's able to engage in outdoor
activities. Camping, swimming, and horseback riding are among her favorites.

ELIZABETH
DOBSON, Assistant
Liz
was born and raised in Tacoma. She grew up with several cats and dogs
as her fur siblings (in addition to her two human brothers). Liz and her husband
share their home with a ball crazy Australian Cattle Dog mix named Flower, and a very brave gray long haired cat
named Charlie. She has been working as a Pharmacy Technician for 11 years and has recently started to get involved
with Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue, fostering Australian Cattle Dogs. Liz also frequently volunteers at the Tacoma Humane
Society. In her free time, you can find Liz camping, biking, hiking, snowboarding,
playing with and training dogs, and going to concerts. She is very excited to
be working at the Metropolitan Veterinary
Hospital as this is where she’s been taking all of her fur kids since relocating
back to Tacoma.

LINDSEY
PRATHER, Kennel Assistant
Our youngest employee is also our biggest dreamer and searching for the dream job.
Lindsey met Dr. Warren at age 3 when they were neighbors in Fort Collins. She
still lives in Colorado with her parents and a killer Chihuahua
named Tyrone. Lindsey spends her free time with best friends Katelyn and
Amber. She has bravely left them behind to spend the summer working with us and
learning the ropes in a veterinary hospital. Lindsey’s animal magnetism
guarantees her success in this field – All animals seem to flock to her. Do
you see a veterinary medical career in her future?

THERON TISON,
Kennel Assistant
A
Tacoman for most of his life, Theron shares his home with one wife, two cats and four dogs. You may
regularly catch him at the Tacoma Humane Society, as he has helped care for cats and dogs there for 5yrs.
When he can pull himself away from the critters, Theron enjoys woodworking and refinishing furniture. Look for Theron
and his granddaughter tooling around town in his ’66 Cadillac Convertible
